Wilmington North Carolina is located on the far eastern coast of North Carolina.  Wilmington is in New Hanover County.  New Hanover county is located between the Cape Fear River and the Atlantic Ocean.

If arriving by airplane or bus,

Please ensure that the travel agent understands that you are going to Wilmington North Carolina.  (There is a Wilmington Delaware.)  ILM is your travel code.

If arriving by car

  Wilmington North Carolina is at the end of Interstate 40 East.  It is north of South Carolina, South of Virginia, and East of Tennesee.

From South Carolina: Get to I95 North and go to route 74/76 East.  This is go directly into downtown Wilmington North Carolina

From Virginia: get to I95 South and go to Route 40 East.  This will go directly to the north side of Wilmington North Carolina

From Tennessee: Get on 40 East and keep going to north side Wilmington North Carolina.
